figured out how to bind my controller for pcsx2 i guess this controller's dpad registers as an analog input. pcsx2's deadzone was 0 so it would just go crazy on inputs from the dpad. anyways maybe i will choose to suffer more at gradius 5 now

more work on the flying stance; i tried some stuff with allowing it to modify rules to let the characters use their normal air moves and return to flying, but i decided to keep it as strictly a stance with stance-actions; even if they just copy attack data from the air normals
