my honey likes to send a selfie from the car after his saturday soccer game with the olds. he has a selfie face that looks like he's grumpy that someone else is taking his picture. "yeah, *this* guy. am i right?" i don't know if it's entirely intentional, but it makes me laugh.

yesterday my language and social anxiety got twisted in a familiar way that thankfully doesn't happen that often. talking about a friend that had moved to curacao, i informed everyone that curacao was a jewish island. i meant to say dutch. that was weird. later i told the pizza guy "love you."

whenever a new person stitches with us in the wardrobe room (a regular occurrence ever since current supervisor decided that didn't need to be a full-time position) there is a part of the day where we all summarize our resumes and act like it's normal conversation instead of a jostle for status.
