Testing some basic/naive visual ideas to differentiate ship for when the player unlocks new ships, find other NPC miners in the galaxy and/or for possible local coop (not defined yet)

Random video but with full audio (music too) in this case. Random note: 1-bit graphics are difficult to read from videos/screenshots but they have some kind of magic. Also, they are easier to assimilate by playing the game (demo available btw).

This is Ship Miner 🚀, a twin stick retro 1-bit pixel art mining game. Multiple people requested color palettes and I decided to experiment, here is a video. One Discord member said: "how the heck this game is able to look good in every color?" 🫶 Add to your Steam Wishlist!

Did some work to have better support for different resolutions (and wide monitors, yes) this week and I ended up adding an optional scale factor. One downside is that you can see more world than with smaller resolution but not a big deal for Ship Miner I believe.

Started to keep track of player stats for each run in Ship Miner to see how bad I am in my own game 😅 (I can easily kill that enemy but had to take the bullet for the video).

Maybe sometimes you could get help from other "automated" miners... at least to find bugs in the code... I suppose this "development feature" started to feel like a thing to have in the game xD

Testing some automatic players so I can stress test the game for bugs, but also could be the base for automated miners (for enemies and/or for friendly drones)
