General reminder for the major patch day / "addon apocalypse" - If you want to save your addon data (trp3 profiles and such), you should back up your WTF folder in your game install location. I find doing "Send to -> Compressed (zipped) folder" to be fairly space-efficient and a quick method.

Its idle animation: hopping/bucking about (like the other foal pets), sparking little orange-red firework bursts above it, with the final burst being all fancy (I think it's a horse head pattern?)

Oddly, this mount release hasn't been advertised yet, and the subscription page in the BattleNet Shop still shows the old offer. I presume one or more of the older mounts will be removed from the subs package (if they haven't already been), but can't confirm that yet. bsky.app/profile/warc...

It sucks that this is still a thing. When a pet is designed to match a mount they should at least appear in the same game.

Smoldering Courage pet. Classic-only, for now? Unknown if/when it will be offered in the Blizz Store as a separate purchase. If it does make it into the shop, it might have a slightly different name (as we've seen with other Classic-only and their Retail-counterpart pets)

Have you completed Turbulent Timeways IV yet? You still have a few weeks (ends 03 Feb). Which mount did/will you pick for your reward? I grabbed the Bronze Corpsefly because I always loved that model! The others can be purchased during SL Timewalking weeks for 5k badges each.

There's a change to tallstrider running animations in Midnight. It no longer holds its head out almost horizontally, but keeps it much more upright as it runs. This is closer to how it originally ran (the Classic animation was even more upright). The "stick your neck out" run was added much later.
