I just assumed that I'd go to my grave never really knowing what words he was singing, period, get over it, end of story. And now he's just... telling us. There is still truth and beauty in the world. Not that we couldn't use more, but there's definitely a bit.

I'm starting to ease back into the world of jazz by going to the Thursday night jam at the local jazz club. It's weird because 1.) I no longer have parents or teachers encouraging me and 2.) I don't see even a foggy idea of where this might take me. But it's kind of all I have at the moment.
