Gyro is changing my life, I was missing out big. Need to set up gyro aiming for as many games as possible for the coming month, does anyone have good stream setup guide for each type of game? Sidescroller movement included.

Gyro aim(motion controls) are actually gaining popularity as an aiming method outside of Nintendo systems. Because it’s objectively more accurate than analog sticks.

Also I appreciate the hell out of gyro controls. I'm getting used to mouse and keyboard but I can't help but feel like I'd be insane at this game if I could aim as well as I can in splatoon

What can I say? You should try it if you haven't. The Steam Deck even has Gyro aim so even if you aren't big on keyboard & mouse, it's not like you need to play it that way. But that's just my input.

Fortnite Ballistic is pretty barebones but the one thing it has over other console tactical shooters is gyro aim

Given that Fortnite already has top-tier support for gyro aiming -- great for flick shots, tracking, or just small adjustments that sticks struggle with -- I really hope the gyro gaming community dives into BALLISTIC from the get-go!

In more mainstream games, there is a massive wrench in the works: aim assist. Stucks are so bad at aiming, they NEED aim assist to function. Gyro is so good it doesn’t. But the fact that the games aim for you makes gyro adoption take longer. That and the fact that the Xbox doesnt even have it.

And earlier today, @bethesda.bsky.social sent me a key for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. Mixed inputs seem to work perfectly, just enabling gyro on Steam already did 90% of the work. None of that would be possible without the credibility this community provides, thank you so much! ❤️

@stellarblade.bsky.social In your future games, could you look into adding Gyro Aim settings for aiming on controller. Since it mimicks a mouse, it would make aiming with ranged combat 10x better than with sticks. The stick aiming just feels a bit clunky.

There is no excuse in a post Splatoon world for all major consoles to not support gyro aiming. The only reason I can imagine that Microsoft hasn't put gyro in the xbox controller already is that they're too emotionally attached to the over designed aim assist that's in Halo.
