The Dinosaur Next Door by @dc-litchfield.bsky.social is a delight. Beautifully simple story about identity and allowing people to live their lives. Dazzling illustrations on every page. His use of colour to show emotion at different times is something that children will love exploring.

Phew it’s hot today. So I thought that it might be helpful to share the ‘under the dust jacket’ cover from ‘My Friend Billy Whiskers’ (coming October 2025). The book is set on a ‘snow day’ when everyone is off school and playing in the icy snow. Hopefully it will help cool you down a little bit 🦁👦🏻
