Just finished reading “My Best Friend’s Exorcism” by Grady Hendrix!! I actually thought it was really good. The spooky stuff wasn’t even the scariest thing about the book; it was honestly all the gas lighting by all of the adults and blaming instead of believing.

Our feature artist/tutorial today looks at what happens to the SHOULDER when we RAISE THE ARM, by the talented @kato_anatomy! The SCAPULA comes up, creating a visible “Bump” at the side, the CLAVICLE angles UP from the STERNUM, and the SHOULDER moves UP and IN towards the NECK!

Backgrounds are SO intimidating. I can easily draw, ink, and color a character, because it’s contained within one “object.” But a background is a bunch of those!!! My attention span cannot fathom the whole. People who illustrate seamless backgrounds are amazing.
