Two weeks on from buying this beauty, and so bloody glad I did. Such a nice ride, with more than enough artist to get up the hills on my commute pretty easily. Putting my old Brooks saddle on it this weekend was a great idea. If you are thinking about getting an E-bike for commuting - just do it.

A story of two halves for the E-bike commute today. Bright and clear on the way in and I did it in less than an hour despite taking it easy. The ride home however was very wet and windy, and cold. I wore the wrong gloves and my hands got a bit numb by the end. Still a blast on the Roci though.

I love my new E-bike (pedal assist). It makes the hills on my daily commute a lot more manageable, plus it’s a pretty comfy and fun ride. Shaves about 10 minutes off the commute (1 hr) as well. I’m still getting a workout, but I’m not totally cream crackered when I get to work.

As we have gone down to being a one car Family, I jist upgraded to a E-bike with a bigger motor. The hope is the extra omph will make the commute a bit quicker, and allow me to carry groceries etc to replace the car.

If you use GMail, AI (Gemini) was turned on yesterday by default and now scans all of your content for machine learning. To turn off, go to Settings>General and scroll down. Uncheck the box for "Smart features." There's other "Smart" add-ons as well, but that's the one that reads your content.
