Good to see everyone is still able to maintain there attention towards the end of the first day of the fMRS symposium at Bangor Uni.

The 2nd Bangor fMRS symposium kicked off tonight, with a welcome dinner in Bwyd da Bangor. A good start I think.

This month at the BIU, our faculty are working hard on the final preparations for two major symposia/workshops that take place in early September. Our events attract international instructors, speakers, and we deliver once-in-lifetime experiences and unparalleled networking opportunities.

I have had a great trip to Amsterdam, visiting Anouk Schrantee, and examining their PhD Student, now Dr, Daphne Boucherie. An excellent thesis, including phamarcologic MRS and MRI.

Amsterdam really knows how to get around by bike.

For some reason, I’m getting a lot of “single mothers” or young ladies following me on here. I have nothing against single mothers, I’m just not sure why they’re following me. It’s not like I have lots of parenting tips or anything.

It’s been a week. Not as bad for us as some, and I feel for people in LA right now. One +ve I followed a few climate and natural sciences starter packs, and now expect a feed full of AMS updates this week. I’m not a climate scientist my self, (neuroscientist) but get the desire for conf. updates.

Make no mistake. Every politician, pundit & online grifter amplifying Musk's dangerous lies will be aware of this intervention by now. Make no mistake, they are choosing to mislead the public & politicise the suffering of victims in the shameful pursuit of political advantage, attention & clicks.

So, I've already abandoned X/Twitter. Do I now need to do the same with Facebook? Or do I say in it amd try to combat some of the lunacy I see? I'll admit I seldom post except for work, or rugby club related posts. Does abandoning FB just leave to become even more of an echo chamber?

Well, I did it again. Came out of "retirement" one more time for a game of rugby. Lasted a full 80 mins. Not too shabby at 53.
