My Instax instant camera arrived before the move! I'm so happy! As I expected would happen, the very first image was totally lost. I forgot to turn off the flash for a mirror selfie. 😂 But the second turned out pretty well considering I've never done this before. Haru was very patient.

🗓️ 3 DAYS TO MOVE! I've woken up early, and am enjoying the 25°C compared to last night's 34. Today I am mostly caught up with packing, I've got some small things to add to a tote and clothes to vacuum pack. But I'm taking time out to go say my goodbyes to my ma. And have a shower! 😁

I think it's only just registered the fact that I won't be in my little flat in the next few days. It's so weird knowing that basically my whole life is currently in my livingroom. This flat was the real start of my independence. It's been so important to my growth. And soon I won't seen it again.

So my estate agent is finally pulling their finger out. But the boiler check can't be done until Thursday. So I'll have been without hot water for a whole week. Their incompetence truly knows no bounds.

🗓️ 4 DAYS TO MOVE! The old wrist injury has flared up today, which could significantly slow me down. I can feel it starting in the other hand too. I really don't want to dual wield wrist supports in this heat. Oh and I'm on day 6 with no hot water. Calling the estate agent as soon as they're open.

A worthwhile reminder that I've told friends and co-workers in the past, and they had no idea. Please try to stay cool and hydrated today in the UK, it's gonna be a scorcher here with it being predicted to be 34°C.

I vastly underestimated how much food would fit in the smaller fridge I bought. I've had to sacrifice some veggies, some suspect vegitatian mince, the eggs that were perilously past date, and my coconut milk. I'm gonna be eating a lot of chicken and red berries for the next couple days.

Not forgetting that the benefits in question were categorically not out-of-work benefits! PIP is designed to help people cover the costs of day-to-day living while disabled, thereby enabling access to society, including work. They just lied and lied about this.

🗓️ 5 DAYS TO MOVE! My Vinted store is now officially in Holiday mode! No more selling things until after I've moved. I only have a handful of packages to send. Everything else will have to wait. I've packed all my gaming/streaming equipment and started to make progress on storing all my desk stuff.

I think I'm gonna call my estate agent first thing tomorrow. I've got so much to deal with, but it's baffling that I got no helpful response to the fact my boiler is unusable while the gas is capped off. No hot water from Wednesday to tomorrow. I desperately want an actual shower.

I don't like how weak my legs have gotten compared to a year ago. Walking uphill requires way more stops cos I keep feeling like they're gonna give out. Hypermobility sucks way more than people tell you. I do physio to maintain, but I'm finding myself struggling to be stood for too long still.

The greatest gift my biological father gave me was going to a funeral and never returning. If he hadn't done this, I would have grown up in an abusive home. Shoutout to my mum for raising me and my brother alone. Much love to those with complicated parental relationships. 🧡

I've sold a fuck tonne of stuff this weekend and I have no clue how I'm gonna get it to delivery points. 😂

The reality is that most food stamps recipients look nothing like the “lazy, freeloading degenerate” caricature those who oppose these benefits have created. 15% are active-duty service members. Nearly 30% work and pay taxes. The other 70% of recipients are elderly, disabled, or children.

So I've had to cancel the BBQ with a friend tomorrow because I need to sort out the boiler and hyperfocus on getting rid of more stuff. I've now seperated out the summer/beach/party themed Pusheen stuff to prioritise getting rid of those along with the vinyl figures, which take up the most space.

So I never got a reply. Day 3 with no hot water. And they can get away with it cos it's not winter. I'm trying to move house here! I'm having to cancel my weekend plan to hang out with my old school friend cos I need to catch up on all the wasted time. I wish I'd started all this 2wks earlier.

I'm already stressed and for some reason my ma is choosing to be passive aggressive about me leaving the family behind and *not being home for Xmas*. Ma, it's fucking June! OK, I think I might've been having a meltdown. I hadn't slept enough, my daily routine was offset, my boiler broke *after* a service, my hair appointment was emotional, and the high humidity all combined to be dysregulated. I feel better after a wash, a decent meal, an ice lolly and Critical Role.

Three months it's taken my local council to get back to me about my housing application... ... Only to tell me they haven't updated it for bidding because apparently one of my documents was password locked. Nevermind they had 6 others to consider as part of it. 3 months to be told "not yet".

God forbid we set regulations for what content is allowed on social media, and hold companies and their CEOs to account for any damages and lack of action against it. This is just yet another step towards surveliance and control, as well as punishing kids for the actions of bad actors.
