I've got therapy again today, and last session was really unpleasant. I'll be doing some emotional cleanup with my therapist to talk about how it went, and I anticipate to go well, but be very draining. So with that in mind, I'm being proactive and setting up some Little space aftercare!

What is a "US Open" and why does Youtube think I want to watch videos about it? It seems to be something about tennis and/or politics, judging by the thumbnails. Wrong answers only, as I don't actually feel very invested, lol

Been feeling very motivated to wear my collars lately, and even leaving the house wearing them like I used to when I was younger. There is just something about a dog collar that feels insanely comforting

I solved a computer problem all by myself 😤 I switched to a new browser today, and it broke some things in magical tech ways. But I stuck with it and figured it out! Now I can finally show you the cute Finch screenshots, ha ha

Having a stressful morning, so I'm taking a short break to make something fun for myself. I use the self-care app Finch a lot, and I'm slowly collecting the entire Playroom item set because it's Little-coded af. Making a chart to mark off what I already have, with my crayons~

There is a small storage box filled I have and I think it's lightly cursed. No matter where I put this box, whether it's in the middle of the floor, pushed to the side in a corner, or even stacked on top of another small box, my foot will find it if it's near floor level.

The heat wave finally broke a bit! Going to ride my bike down to the post office later and mail out some art. I was surprised by how much cooler biking is to walking when it got out. The wind makes up for the increased leg movement!

Went a long stint where I felt like "Eeehhh, maybe I'm not a baby. I'm not feeling any of these toys or activities at all. I am a full adult forever now I guess." The dry spell is over. It's baby time 👶

EMDR therapy has been so wild. Sometimes I have a session and I'm pretty okay after, and sometimes I have one and I think I feel okay, but then the next day I wake up feeling... almost hungover? Like I don't sleep well, my body feels sore, etc. It's so weird! Brains are so weird!!

#needles In other news... I'm going to be scheduling an appointment to get a vaccination, in about two weeks. I'm very scared, yes. But I've been having great breakthroughs with EMDR therapy, and I'm ready to try. It will be scary, and it will hurt, and I will be okay.

I landed on some things that helped a bit! -Cleaning the house, organizing my space -Crocheting a small pride flag to wear as a pin -Sending a letter to management expressing my concerns (even though it won't change the things happening, it still feels better than being completely silenced)
