I'm stoked to have finally finished the Kawaii, a fully functional metal Wii keychain. It's way smaller than it looks— only as big as a Game Boy cartridge! ✨🟦✨ Huge thanks to
@weskmods.bsky.social
and
@dingding-cnc.bsky.social
for being awesome project partners!

My LT6711A board works perfectly! It draws about 1W when converting 1080p HDMI to DP Alt Mode. ⚡

Whipped up an eval board for the Lontium LT6711A. It takes HDMI in and outputs USB-C DP Alt Mode. This is gonna be a gamechanger for Wii portablizing!

Currently working on Scampi, an open source shrimp-themed universal audio amp for portablizers! 🦐 🩷 It will support analog input as well as I²S from a dozen different video game consoles.

This is the LOLWUT Wii U trim. A fully functional Wii U in the palm of your hand (81x111mm). It's the culmination of ~3 months of off-and-on portablizing R&D by yours truly!

X-rays of the Wii U motherboard (WUP-50 revision). The DDR3 traces on the inner layers are clearly visible, which will be super handy for planning a trim outline.
