Sometimes you just have to throw your arms up and yell into the AMU.

"Yes," Omega said with a deadpan voice. I'm not sure how it got here and where the rest of it is, but I think we're sufficiently lucky that this all that we have..... unless it means the rest of it is still out there somewhere....."

“A crystalline prediction engine? I have never heard of such a thing. Where did you find it, and is it currently on the ship you’re chasing?” He had to admit, his curiosity had been piqued and it was hard to contain it, almost like a child in a candy store. +

The antimatter universe seems a little brighter since to Omega since he made contact with @theceruleanmage.bsky.social.

“Sanity?” Omega laughed. “Overrated! I ditched mine long ago! Being stuck here tends to do that to a person.” He could feel a small amount of amusement through their connection and it brought a warmth to him that he hadn’t felt in an eternity. +

He could understand her hesitance in accepting what he said as truth and gave her a chuckle. "Well, here's an idea," he said while concentrating harder on their mental connection to strengthen it. +

|| So I started doing a thing. 💜💙 Considering I write this character for 10+ years, there's many more characters who ended up as part of Persis' 'character history', but those all date back to platforms like dA or LJ (which are mostly dead these days, so Bsky is what we roll with now. xD)

Watching the spectacle from the 'safety' of his universe/prison, Omega bursts out laughing, making sure to project his amusement into Persis' mind.

Looking around, Omega had no idea where he had materialized. It was dark and the air felt tingly. "uh? Hello? Anyone here? I could have sworn I felt someone's presence."

Looking at her, Omega is both confused and understands what she is doing. "I hate to inform you but you won't detect anything by smelling me. Also I saw you pinch but felt nothing..... I am here but I am also not here it seems."

It felt good to be complimented for his idea, although he couldn’t quite comprehend exactly what she meant. He was a little perplexed by her request but he focused nevertheless and answered her honestly. +
