The more I read and the more I listen to national folks, I’m more and more certain Duren is back in Detroit. Everyone agrees Sabonis is viewed as a negative asset (I hate that term for human beings) around the league and the Pistons could do better. Kings are stuck with him.

Duren is going to get paid more than Sabonis. Sabonis has made an All-NBA team twice and Duren has only made it onc. Sabonis will be on a less expensive contract and is more decorated. We should be asking how many picks is Detroit sending to Sacramento.

Based on social media, there are some Kings fans that really overvalue Sabonis.

I have a weird question: Did the new NBA draft rules ruin draft blogs and sites? Some mock 2027 drafts popped up in my feed with the Kings #1, but if the worst record likely won’t be close to the 1st pick. Part of the fun of mock drafts is seeing who may be in team’s range. Now no one has any idea.
