The Maxx was monumental to me as a kid and I’ve been thrilled finding more Sam Kieth work ever since. Even recently while prepping Crusaders, I found Sam’s covers for the 90s Marvel run and it gave me such a creative boost knowing he’d spent time drawing the same weirdos I was about to tackle. RIP.
