How many times do you look at the temperature on your phone? Most of those temperatures are from weather stations NOAA/NWS helps maintain…or they are a model interpolation from a model NOAA/NWS helped develop. The radar data, satellite data, every single watch and warning…that’s NOAA/NWS.

YOUR FAVORITE WEATHER APP IS JUST A PRETTY DISPLAY OF NOAA DATA Ppl seem to think that "NOAA weather forecasts" means climate-, boat-, or "in addition to my app"-weather. But the weather forecasts *we all use* are made from the NOAA data *we all paid for* Make that part clear when you ⬇️

These aren't "faceless bureaucrats," they're friends and colleagues -- more like family, really. I worked on NASCO with Andy Rosenburg while a Knauss Fellow at NOAA. Hell doesn't have enough levels for the jerks doing this, not only to family, but by extension, to all of us who benefit from NOAA.
