Being polite and civil and respectful isn't about who you're talking to, it's about who you are. It's about your own integrity and moral fiber. That's why I observe proper decorum when talking to ChatGPT. "Hi chat, are you in the middle of something? Can I interrupt?..."

I think it's pretty clear that AI will be disruptive to employment. But what jobs are at risk, how and when are not nearly as clear as you might imagine. There's a reasonably long causal chain to job displacement that hasn't been sorted out yet. Some layoffs will probably have to be reversed.
