Having now watched a lot of contemporary Star Trek series which many have said were crap has led me to believe that maybe many Star Trek fans are more interested in nostalgia than Star Trek.

I didn’t want to play Valheim cause I heard it had soulslike combat. Then I played it and thought it was amazing. Then I got to the combat part and wanted to stop playing. Then I learned you can turn off raids and turn the difficulty down. Now I think it’s amazing again.

I’m finally getting around to watching Star Trek: Discovery. Which is so far not as bad as I was lead to believe. Yet, I’m also not sure I like it?

Fell down my own chimney in Valheim and died while working on my roof.

I love crafting/survival/sim games but Valheim always intimidated me. I’m super glad I got over that cause I can’t stop playing. My wife is currently playing super Mario 3 on my steam deck and I’m staring at her like a dog who needs to go out to pee.
