Spoke with Mark Carney to congratulate him on his election. It was the perfect opportunity to reaffirm the strength of the 🇪🇺🇨🇦 bond and the many opportunities that lie ahead. We discussed how to build on the success of CETA and agreed to explore deeper cooperation on defence and economic security.
