Sometimes playing Pocket feels like IRL networking for future prospects. I had all these unknown friend requests from random interactions. 'I think I'm good, I have absolutely no idea who you a- oh wait, I did want to trade a bunch of cards...' .....I accepted them all.

Just hit a new peak inside the highest rank of this game. I am now at least Certifiably Dependable to hold my own and pull my weight in high level games, but there is still a very noticeable chasm between myself and the top players in this game. The learning never stops, but damn, is it fun as hell.

Sick

This season's so much tougher and sweatier than last. I'm constantly running into other top players and had to learn several new strikers just to live. Finally rewarded though by making it back on the leaderboard to my highest peak. Honestly, this probably the best I've ever been at a team shooter.

Power creep incarnate

Fighting game idea: a toggle option to hide your ranked points so that you are blind on how many points you have or gain/lose. Just can't see anything until the surprise 'You just made Master' announcement.

Took some crazy grinding, but I just hit a new peak! Had to learn some new stuff and venture out of my comfort zone with some new Striker suits, and it hella paid off in the end. As a nice bonus, I also managed to get back and a lot further into the top 500. Game is still insanely fun! 😇

Galleon is hella fun, and she feels like she has a lot of sauce. This was the most GBVS Rising that I've played in a long time. I don't usually go after grappler-types, but this one's doing so many other things that it seems like a very refreshing take on the archetype. Maybe I'll grind GBVSR more.

Combo Breaker 2025 reflection: GG Xrd - 25th Chaos Code - 5th Mystery - 257th (went 2-2) Mystery 2v2 - 25th with @airdash.bsky.social Avoided breaking my streak of making it out of Xrd pools. Didn't get further than that, but I haven't been playing Xrd much so I can't be too disappointed with that.

Frosty Faustings XVII reflection thread while I'm on this 5:30 AM flight back Friday, I got 49th out of 256 ppl in Mystery Games, and I made it into Top 8 in Chaos Code. In Chaos Code, I managed to surprise myself by beating one of the top players in the bracket! 1/7

Made it out of pools in Xrd and then won some sets after that. I think I managed to get 33rd place. I was a bit upset over how some of the sets turned out, but overall I'm happy I made it this far.

Went 3 and 2 in mystery bracket and managed to get top 8 in Chaos Code! It's been a fun day so far. Gonna commentate Xrd in 30 min on FunkyP's stream.
