35 years ago this Mon 13 Jan 2025 (that’s Sat 13 Jan 1990) I attended my first Paul McCartney concert at Wembley Arena. It was a long time coming but much more has passed since. To my delight the album of tour highlights contains 2 tracks from that night - The Fool on the Hill & Twenty Flight Rock!

My first theatre trip of the year this afternoon to see The Importance of Being Earnest at the National. Ncuti Gatwa, Hugh Skinner and Sharon D. Clarke star in a joyous, colourful, thoroughly entertaining production.
