Casimir tilts their head slightly, a soft purr emanating from them as Scar gently caressed the hybrid’s fur. “Could be…”

“Perhaps…” The trickster says, hovering closer to the jackal. “…if you think you can handle a lucky little trickster like me?”

“Oh my…I’ll need a big strong protector then…” They reply, ears twitching upwards at the gentle poke.

“Somewhat, I myself am a Sol Emerald.” They smirk, their patterned wings tucking in slightly behind them as they spoke.

“Cassie? Brilliant!” They laugh with a mischievous grin to follow. “So you just happen to stumble into Emeralds on occasion?”

“Which would you prefer? Some people shorten my name down to Cass…not that I mind, I’ve went by many aliases.” The hybrid replies with a small yet curious smile. The trickster did gently place their own hand atop Scar’s. “So, may I ask what you’re currently doing?”

Indeed, things would get messy… Yet a few projectiles landed themselves wedged into Badnik armour…the projectiles looked like…playing cards? It only took a moment before the cards erupted into fiery balls. The Cat raccoon hovers above, amused.

It seems @freedom-fighters.bsky.social was in a spot of bother, Egg Pawns and various other Badniks on the approach to harm a small town. Obviously a ploy to draw Sonic’s attention away from something bigger…this wasn’t her world yet people needed saving all the same.
