It’s a sixty(!) artist show. That’s nuts! I’m in it too with my fancy book PIES and a new, goofy little zine about a fictional bad video essay.

Krita's Dynamic Brush tool is really doing it for me. Adds a tiny bit of delay to let me line up the end of the stroke, or to give me time to lift the pen so there's no little smudge at the end of the line.

It was one summer, pre-pandemic, the Blue Angels were flying overhead and I asked Katsuya Terada what his art advice was. "Draw however is comfortable for you. I'm using this big marker. People said 'what're you using that for it's so big' and I said 'I just like it.' Do whatever feels good."

A wonderful evening. Met and hung out with so many good new people. I’m thrilled.
