Likewise, I'll never need affordable daycare. But I *do* need my radiologist, landscaper and editor to focus on my x-rays, shrubberies and manuscript and *not* worry about how they'll afford to take care of their kids while they're working for me! So I guess I kind of *do* need affordable daycare.

I can afford private HC insurance, food, housing, and a car. I can afford small luxuries. I want my taxes spent to allow others, who are in much more dire situations, to have these as well. We are a civil & caring society. We can afford to help. Greed is the only reason others won't.

Kirk didn't deserve to die for speaking his opinions. People have the right to opinions without fear of violence. Do I agree with his opinions? No, but he did have a good side that showed during his debates. He opened the podium for others to challenge him. The man valued dialogue, not violence.

I'm the kind of guy that can misplace his roach clip mid-session and my clip is a set of needle-nose pliers.

I'm a fan of locking forceps which, if you have to stop up a bleeding artery mid-session, well.... Doesn't always come in handy, but sure is handy when it does. BONUS: tie string through a finger hole and put it up your sleeve so's you don't lose it. Counterweight with a bic lighter at t'other end.
