Hasty age verification laws leave our kids information vulnerable to data breeches. It leads to further use of vpns to circumvent these restrictions which are valid tools in several use cases. It becomes a problem when tools are disallowed because it makes it harder for these people to stay safe.

Really, if you are on the fence about 1-6% of the population (trans Americans)bc you want to have a sense of "normalcy" you likely live in a bubble where you don't know any trans people. And we're everywhere. You just don't know it because we aren't all obvious. Perhaps educate yourself about us.
