ngl, I've been enjoying Zero Parades. It doesn't hit like Disco Elysium and some things are somewhat rough (VO different from the text, lines with VO missing, items showing wrong stats), but the overall vibe is similar and I'm intrigued by the story. And the soundscape is _so_ good.

we really need to standardize crediting artists. especially in an era where so much ai slop is being put out there if your promo art isn't ai? prove it. give the damn artist some credit. easy fix it even saves the company some small amount of face if it's the artist who used ai. everyone benefits.

I'll never shut up about how the "learn AI or be left behind" is a lie, because the so-called "AI" as we have today will never be able to fully replace a human, and because if the higher-ups want to cut costs, they _will_ lay you off, doesn't matter if you know "AI" or not.

Funny how moving countries change your objectives. In Europe I was like “man, I’m gonna spend money on things I like”, but in Brazil I’m like “I’m gonna save as much money as possible because you never know when you might need it”.

I messed around a bit with RPG Maker and found out it stores all its database data in .json files, including dialogues. Opened them and looked around a bit and, with proper file wrangling and maybe regex, it would be pretty easy to localize RPG Maker games (at least on MZ, the version I'm checking).
