Sigh. We need UK-wide media explaining how the devolved nations & NI are governed and how this differs from how England is. And to explain to the English that the devolved nations & NI are the same as regions within England. I see "smart" English posters here having difficulty with this.

And how many are doing anything to combat climate change? Using air conditioning less often? Don't use AI? Drive energy efficient cars? Advocate for 15 minute cities/towns? Walk/use public transportation?

These are not needed. This will harm how people actually live. Pavements are for people, not some inanimate robot.

Devolution doesn't mean different English regions. These different English are represented in WM. Devolution refera to the national governments in NI, Scotland, & Wales. The problem isn't age. It is how unregulated social media platforms have become. Not allowing under 16s into social media won't stop people becoming radicalised, incitement of violence, misinformation spreading. Let's call it what it is - a distraction from doing real governing.

Ooo...someone blocked me because I corrected her that voting in the UK elections today don't require a voting ID when she said it did. She couldn't even be bothered to determine if IDs were needed in ALL of the UK before posting to ensure she was giving out correct information.

Voted in the Scottish Parliamentary elections today. It was simple and easy. Go vote.

When giving voting advice, make sure it is either uniform (relevant for the WHOLE UK) or qualify it for where any conditions/requirements are needed. In Scotland & Wales, photo IDs aren't required. ENGLAND is the outlier.

Yesterday in Hastings, in the wake of antisemitic attacks in Golders Green, I faced Nazi salutes. Today the Prime Minister uses his office to attack the only Jewish party leader to score political points.

What she seemed to not mention is that it is not the marchers that are sowing hate & division, but it is coming from those that oppose the marches. Any move to stop them is to reward those who are sowing that hate & division.
