Inktober sets completely unrealistic expectations regarding output. Making a complete inked drawing in one day EVERY day for a month is insane and a recipe for burnout. Don’t tie your worth to something that even professionals believe is unrealistic.

Why am I seeing people calling genuine music about the fear of the state of the world "cringe" and "corny," wtf is wrong with y'all?? Cringe culture needs to die i stg Go listen to some punk, blues, or folk music and grow up.

There's someone back in my home state, in a city many of my friends live, going around publicly talking about how he wants to murder queer people, and that "white men should rise up and form a militia," among other terrifying things. Stay safe right now, everyone. Stay together.

All I'll say currently is I'm tired of respectability politics always being levied against minorities when it's defending monstrous people. I'm tired of them mocking minorities when they die or suffer only to call us evil for simply not mourning evil men. Stay safe, stay informed, stay together.

I think one of the things I want to do with my degree when I get it is help teach adults how to read. It makes me sad when people come in where I work who can't read or struggle with reading, and it's clear they're not usually met with kindness about it.

I feel like I haven't been confusing people about my gender enough recently. Such a shame. Gonna go see what androgynous outfits I can pull together. Maybe get a fun coat.

Decided to stop letting my imposter syndrome pound me in the butt (thanks, Chuck Tingle), and just starter outlining a book idea in milanote. I've wanted to write a book literally my whole life, so might as well start now. Got a whole gameplan figured out. :)
