Parking attendant today at my third talk of the week, this one at Dauntsey under the glorious Doom there. Previous talks in Malmesbury for the museum on the Reformation and then on Last Judgement Art. Similar talk planned in November for Sarum Chronicle annual lecture. We’re DOOMED!

The costs of poverty are immeasurable. It is like a vast fungal growth that spreads insidiously in all directions, much of it unseen.

I should probably modify the number of cheese and herb scones I make now that there is only me to eat them.
