I've been fascinated with collapse of empires since i worked for 6 yrs as a tour guide in Rome. This is a good overview of why the US, far from being mighty, is actually nearing collapse right now. What happens afterwards though? How will it fragment?

When we said NATO wasn't working we were derided. When we said a nuclear weapons system relying on the US is dangerous we were called stupid. The truth is the establishment are more interested in kissing US feet than keeping the UK safe. It's time for a rethink.

I don't the US will be safe until they make significant political and societal changes. Not just Trump, but the guns, the corruption, the medical system. And the rest of us won't be safe until we change international relations from US dominance and meddling/coups to equal multilateral cooperation.

It's really about whether we want a future where countries cooperate internationally to stop global problems (like children affected by conflict, pest pandemics or climate chaos) or one where we hunker down like mad max/mediaeval war lords with their serfs. Trump & Putin want the latter of course..

Not entirely sure why he's wearing a cagoule for this press event, but it's important. I wonder what Greenland would say about closer alignment and even unity between the EU and Canada as a way of protecting them trans-Arctic?

Why do we have to hear the opinions of vile Rowling and Yvette (Friend of Israel) Cooper on the Iranian uprisings? Why have overseas solidarity protests been hijacked by Israel and pro-Shah factions? To read commentary from people with real expertise and progressive views, who should I follow?

I believe in international peace, laws and cooperative, but if there is an era of hunkering down seems to me most that Europe and Canada should combine into one trans-Arctic entity, to protect Greenland and peaceful shipping once the Arctic inevitably thaws.

I really believe that as the mismanagement of Reform councils, their distasteful links with Russia and Trump and their calls for a UK version of the murderous ICE become better known, their ratings will inevitably fall.
