After popping in the lab to make some thesis progress, I got off the subway at Canal St. The walk home is one mile from there and it's gorgeous out. If you won't get off a subway early and just enjoy a walk, we probably don't have a lot in common. This is one of my fav things to do in NYC.

One really fascinating point here (among many) is that a peril of organic-looking PR is less that people will be tricked into liking a band, and more that some journalists can be suckered into treating people/phenomena as massively influential when they probably are not!
