Maybe this is off base, but maybe PEN was the best selling set because of the somewhat predatory nature of antiquity packs preying on folks' addictive personalities. Opening the set (I got two boxes) genuinely felt awful on the whole, and I'm not seeing what's actually "premium" about the product
