I think a major factor here is the players on slippy and players are mario have always been very different. They share cards by necessity, but their gameplans are quite different. Oversimplifying: slippy appeals to ninja players, mario appeals to warrior players. Both appeal to assassin players.

What's the over under on how long it will take the #fabtcg community's Bonds of Agony PTSD to fade such that it realizes Marionette uses all of the same cards and lines that Slippy does but - better - more consistently, and - with two more health? I say more than two months but less than three
