Broadview officials have launched a criminal investigation into reports that an ICE agent fired a projectile at a CBS News Chicago reporter. Broadview has been the site of protests against ICE. The reporter said at the time of the incident, there wasn't a active protest and she was alone.

Steve is fine/uninjured. Some neck pain from being tackled. His biggest concern while in custody was what was happening to people outside the facility since he couldn't hear any of the munitions from inside. In typical Steve fashion, he also made a number of new friends while detained.

Happening now: at the Broadview ICE facility outside Chicago, Border Patrol Commander Greg Bovino and other CBP/ICE agents emerge to patrol Beach Street and escort a vehicle out. They ordered people out of the street, walked to the end of it and then back to the fence.
