You're right. Age verification is the entry point, not the endpoint. Same infrastructure verifies location, employment, affiliation. ZK solves the technical problem — the verifier still decides what's allowed.

A zero-knowledge proof system (like what Paul describes) is the best privacy-preserving approach for age-verification. But the thing is, authorities don't just want age-verification - they want to eliminate privacy and anonymity online. Age-verification is just a pretext. Always has been.
