I talked to a medical professional and father recently who had NO IDEA that there were people trained to assist with breastfeeding. He was astounded. It's an actual function of the human body. He did not know there would be a specialty for that. This is insane.

Sometimes when a conversation begins around #breastfeeding, people start debating/minimizing its importance. Here's the thing, though: if someone is asking for help with it because they want to do it, the conversation needs to shift to how to get them the help they need. #IBCLC
