I’m bringing my “Random Encounter” Cube to Atlanta. You draft a pair of red legends and then we split a 100 card deck full of Random Encounters, cycling creatures and forks. The only way to get the creatures in play is Random Encounter. Games are usually 60-90 mins. Let me know if you want in.

Why can’t I craft Jitte on Arena? All the other Anthologies cards are craftable, why not Jitte?

I’ve been thinking about this card. A LOT. Here’s the thing I’ve realized. Player A casts. Player A and Player D will ALWAYS take the mana. A is obvious, but D has almost no risk because it only feeds A. However, B and C will notice this and then also start to take it. A just needs a CZ outlet

I need your brain. Can you name a card that has “destroy an X” as a cost? Plenty of things have sacrifice but I’m looking for “destroy” to flesh out a weird rules interaction in Catfight

It’s weird that we all know Vivi needs to be banned, including WotC, but they refuse to do it until later, after tournaments. I get it, but this adding an asterix to every tournament kind of rubs me the wrong way. “Johnson hit 500 HRs for the one season we allowed bats made of anti gravity”

Some of these in universe art and concepts are way cooler than the spider-man ones. Magic has built awesome worlds, I want to see more of them.

People are greedy and this card is beyond busted. If these are cheap, grab every copy you can, especially if the hybrid mana rule ever changes.

The funny thing about this rules change is that Moonmist isn’t a may, you MUST transform all humans, yours and opponents. Some very funny shenanigans will inevitably ensue.

I love how WotC banned one combo that was wrecking Historic to then only print another combo straight into the format…there really isn’t anyone playtesting is there?

Fellow Oathbreaker players, this card is ridiculous as your signature spell. It is a two card combo with almost 10 other cards. Has anyone been playing this?

This HAS to be Historic playable now, right? This is arguably the best green creature ever printed.

Players who haven’t played Legacy don’t realize how busted this card is. This thing is going to dominate Historic and Timeless.

Draws should be 0 points. Offering an ID should be a DQ. This is the only way to have tEDH have a longterm future.

So I’ve seen 2 people discover Magic, fall in love with it, stream Arena and then the light drain from them once they started playing ranked standard because it’s so miserable and the floor to having a decent deck is too high. This is a legitimate issue WotC needs to work towards fixing.

Mana Pool is now my primary site for buying cards. This feature is amazing!

This is the most unintuitive mechanic I’ve ever seen in my life. You do what…? Why? I’m going to tap 3 creatures to sacrifice my own banishing light for free…? Please explain what is happening here

One thing I noticed is you don’t see anyone saying “I playtested these cards before the set release and gave feedback”. We saw this with The One Ring and folks playing with a wildly different version. Are they just not playtesting cards anymore with outside folks? Do we have any insight on this?
