Even if it wasnât an absolute crock of shit and the measles werenât coming from inside the house, weâd fix it by vaccinating against measles here and abroad. Like, if you donât want Americans catching diseases that havenât been eliminated in other countries, smart money is killing the disease there

The important thing to know about The Bowerborn Gods is that they are more human than they are god. They are born and become themselves if theyâre allowed to, not made as they were meant to be. They hold no special ability beyond their domain. A Bowerborn may be among us and we havenât noticed.

Continuing our series of "what if D&D but not?" games of In This World. I am continually astounded how we can make a setting I want to play a whole campaign in every 25 minutes less. And then another. And then another.

I want to name my god of funerals Eol, but Iâve already been roasted for my naming conventions being generally hooked around lightly obfuscating something obvious already this week. But also, Eol (pronounced EE-yol) is also just kind of a nice name and Iâm bad at coming up with names.

And doctors are still paid as the result of daily LABOR. They're WORKERS. They're rich. But they're not The Rich. This is not a high hurdle to get over, but I see people fall over it every day. If you're equating doctors with Elon Musk, you are 100% not ready to be having these conversations.

I like to make my first cut with Hanlonâs Razor because intentions can be hard to gage. And some people are driven by malice and either donât recognize it or wonât admit it. But eventually, you just have to accept that people can be both stupid and mean.

OK, this is GREAT. One world, multiple systems building it out. I went all the way back to the start and was pleased to see Quest on the table. This table were really fun in that, but when they switch mid story to Skeletons? They really ate with that one. Rated and reviewed.

Since some ghouls are already pushing it as a talking point, we should probably all familiarize ourselves with ephebophilia (sexual attraction to post-pubescent minors) as a bad thing. Itâs technically distinct from pedophilia, and equally horrifying.

Piece of world building I really appreciate: The timeline for Trench Crusade includes the entry â1889 - Church Space Program commences.â Thereâs no further elaboration because what else do you need? Thatâs it. Itâs hilarious and portentous and just a perfect sentence.

This one is special to me. Itâs a story where a person we briefly alluded to is told a story expanding lore from another game⌠itâs a very me kind of project. Iâm not really sure what itâs about. Itâs about gods and mortality and doing things and talking to lovers.

Iâve been thinking about this a lot, breaking down our main factions into smaller constituencies. Because I want us to deal with populations and peoples in addition to organizations and nascent states as we move into a popular uprising.

Dumb theory: Multiverses are in vogue because weâve gotten used to existing in a world that has to contend with multiple extremely distinct versions of reality coexisting, and itâs fun to do that with like wizards and dragons and shit rather than definitions of humanity and criminality.

Not to construct a house of hypotheticals, but if men could get their shit in order enough that women could trust not to be assaulted for doing this, and if said men could be trusted to self-reflect and get better at sex by holding themselves and each other accountable, âmale lonelinessâ would end.

Restating my opinion that 99% of Protest Discourse is because people don't know there are two broadly different kinds of protest (rallies and direct action) and they have different requirements to be effective (and "don't be cringe" is not a requirement for either, actually)

Look at how much life we lead with so little. How we can muddle through from cradle to grave on a sliver. How if the middle gave us everything from a percentage of a percentage of the people they envy, weâd have twice as much as we do now and might not come calling for them.
