Anyway I'm just going to say it outright: if you're an indie dev using AI for coding, above and beyond any other objections, what you're telling me is that you have no solidarity with anyone else in games. Not artists, not writers, not other coders. You beleive in personal convenience at all costs.

Pleeeeeeeeeease for the love of god immediately leave whatever page asks this. It dumps malicious commands into your clipboard behind the scenes, and thinly disguises the instructions to paste and run said commands via your computer's terminal/command prompt. No official reCAPTCHA does this, ever.

The real genius of games like Mausritter and Mothership is taking the OSR "be clever & scrappy or you'll die" mindset and transplanting it to more intuitively fitting premises like tiny mice or space horror protagonists. Way fewer cultural expectations to swim upstream against this way!

It always comes back around to what often competes for the title of my favorite TTRPG ever, Mausritter. More than the rules that fit in 50 pages or the card-based inventory, the premise of "Play tiny mice in a big, dangerous world" conveys the ethos of the OSR better than any blog or book, IMHO.

The fact that the ticking clock aspect was added in editing is one of those "once you know, you can't unsee it" things. It's brilliant how Marcia Lucas pulled it together based on what she had available. You notice that no one refers to it on-screen. It's all PA announcer voiceover.
