💯 agree, but there’s a difference in making this work in a series of state and city elections (like last night), where each candidate can do their own thing in responding to particular local needs/vibes … and a national election where you need to carry the country with one message and one person.

A coalition that ranges from democratic socialists to neoconservatives, including a lot of energized liberals in between, is large and formidable. A big pro-democracy tent. A united front. Any internal disagreements can be hashed out once the authoritarian emergency is over. This really can work.
