Four yrs ago, Connecting Cabra worked with the local parish to plant spring bulbs around the church. This was followed by a mini-orchard, swift & bat boxes, a native hedge & a mini-forest. Today @shanners1.bsky.social led an impromptu biodiversity walk to show all the bees & insects that followed!

First frog spawn of the year spotted at the connecting Cabra pond. A small but important sign of spring. Frogs rely on ponds and wetlands like this to breed, and these habitats support many other species too. Even in urban areas, wetlands play a vital role in supporting biodiversity.
