I was in a 2 hour briefing today on the Iran War. All the briefings are closed, because Trump can't defend this war in public. I obviously can't disclose classified info, but you deserve to know how incoherent and incomplete these war plans are. 1/ Here's what I can share:

1. I keep seeing people say "if the war itself is illegal, then no act committed in that war can be legal, so why bother to distinguish between legal and illegal acts." This is profoundly mistaken, and let me explain why.

Illegal tariffs 28. Supine Congress 29. Withholding emergency aid from Democratic states 30 tearing down the WH.

18. Encouraging further media consolidation 19. Working with billionaires to ruin the information environment necessary for democracy 20. Lying about election fraud 21. Helping Putin undermine democracy in Europe 22. HOW MANY OF THESE THERE ARE JUST OFF THE TOP OF MY HEAD 23...

11. Ending global aid that benefitted us in the long run 12. DOGE stealing government data 13. Kid Rock et al 14. Using DOJ as his personal law firm 15. Stopping Ukraine aid 16. Sabotaging the global transition to clean energy 17. Ending protections for our food, air, and water.

3. Flagrant domestic corruption 4. Flagrant International corruption 5. Blatant violations of the constitution 6. Aesthetic crimes against public property 7. Destruction of alliances 8. Friendliness with despots 9. Ending of research science 10. Encouragement of anti-vax & anti-science movements
