Twenty years ago, the first batch of the "What's the Story?" entries were published on the official Star Wars website. My story for Swilla Corey was among those stories. It was the first time I was able to contribute to Star Wars lore :)

'The Acolyte Visual Guide' has been released in the UK since June 5. It looks great! Too bad we haven't gotten a guide like this for all series. And the greatly detailed galaxy map is back !

We are saddened to learn that legendary Art director & production designer Les Dilley has passed away at the age of 84. He won Academy Awards for ‘Star Wars: A New Hope’ and ‘Raiders of the Lost Ark’ and also worked on ‘The Empire Strikes Back’, ‘Superman: The Movie’, ‘Alien’ & many, many others.

Today, 48 years ago, something happened that would change my life. Happy birthday to 'Star Wars', released on May 25, 1977. Also happy birthday to 'Return of the Jedi' and 'Solo'.

At a screening of THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK, George Lucas discussed why Yoda speaks backwards “Because if you speak regular English, people won’t listen that much... He was basically the philosopher of the movie. I had to figure out a way to get people to actually listen — especially 12-year-olds.”

Seeing 'Revenge of the Sith' back in the theatre was a lovely experience. Where have those last twenty years gone, it still feels it was 'last week'.

Nineteen years ago today, it was announced that I named Wam Lufba and gave him his background through "What's the Story?". Since then Wam has been made into a maquette replica by Regal Robot (Tom Spina Designs), a trading card and he has been mentioned in several canon sources.
