Prolly obvious if you know how LLMs work: They compute tokens left to right, no "thinking" followed by output. I think that's also what makes the reasoning models much better: They use the model to interrogate the model many times. So their context window will have all the info and then they answer.

Fun limitation of LLMs (w/o tool use): Letting them ramble improves their abilities. Going step-by-step, having it output everything allows it to spread a computation across more tokens. Example: Random maths problem that likely wasn't in the training set "sin(cos(sin(tan(1.2))))" 🧵

Sadiq Khan / TfL gave the go ahead for a road tunnel without building an equivalent fixed cycle bridge/tunnel in east london … so critical mass took things into their own hands and turned the Silvertown tunnel into a cycle route.

SwiftNIO users, please make sure you update to swift-nio >= 2.80.0. There's a compiler bug in the Xcode 16.3's compiler that can make your program hang in a CPU spin loop. NIO 2.80.0 contains a workaround.
