After all, what's a bit of tuberculosis, brucellosis, diphtheria, scarlet fever, Q-fever, Salmonella, Listeria, Yersinia, Campylobacter, Staphylococcus aureus, and Escherichia coli between friends? Sure, we *can* make milk safe to consume... but why bother?
