Sometimes I wish I had the mechanical devotion of those bot accounts that regularly post something every couple of hours, and get massive engagement even though they're posting absolute nonsense and lies. Sometimes I haven't posted for over a week, and at least nothing bad has happened. So that's OK

I know that half the stuff I post on here is my game design work. It's my hobby, my passion, and something I'm proud of at the moment. If you're not interested, just scroll on past. If you are interested... thankyou, it's meant a lot over the past year or so.

This little game has had almost 200 downloads (199 as I post this), it's about sentient magical weapons being passed down from hero to hero. However, no-one has given me feedback on it. Does anyone like it? Does everyone hate it and they're just being too polite to tell me.

I don't know if this has worked, but starting tomorrow, I'm releasing a limited number of free copes of the recent game expansions I've released. If it hasn't worked and anyone out there knows about the back end of the itch platform, any advice would be appreciated.

The quartet of starting booklets for our little game about skeletons has finally been completed. I've got so much more about that world that I'd like to explore, but we'll see how things go over the next couple of months.

I knew it was (Inter)National Ferret Day yesterday (It's April 3 in Australia as I write this), but I didn't know it was Autism Awareness Day too. Kind of ironic that I wasn't aware of this.

Just sitting here trying to think of some ideas for a new game... I don't want to do fantasy, but real world is just too depressing. Cyberpunk might be a good blend.

I finally managed to buy the "No ICE in Minnesota" bundle, ad now I'm starting the process of digging through the games in it. Of the half dozen I've had a quick skim through, there is some amazing imagination and some really clever writing and gamecraft I'm seeing.

I found a old cosplay project I was going to work on at one stage... I was going to do Pepper Potts in an suit of Iron Man armour... I might get back to it one day.

HOT TAKE. Pretty much everyone who is introverted in actually neurodivergent in some way. (I don't know this for a fact, and it's certainly not the case that everyone who's extroverted is neurotypical...but I figured it might make for an interesting point of discussion.)

I'm working on a new game, which builds a history of a post apocalyptic settlement. Each player portrays a faction leader with a group of followers, and turns take place as seasons.

Yeah...I think I could pull of Cassandra Cain / Batwoman. Now to finish making the rest of the suit.

Now that a few of my games have seen almost 100 download each (and one of my games is over 200), it'd be really awesome to get some feedback on how they play in other people's hands. I know that this is a frustration a lot of game designers have... so I'll just wait and see.
