I've seen a couple of these books... and have been lucky enough to write a couple of games based on unfinished ideas in them.

Is this the greatest piece of recursion ever? A depressing game design where depressed game designers might end up producing game about depressed game designers.

Wow...I look at the "48-word RPG Jam" after submitting my entry, and it really feels like a lot of people just aren't even trying. A simple mechanism with no real interaction cycle between storytelling and gameplay is either a die rolling exercise, or a conversation/writing prompt. Nothing more...

Hopefully I've generally curated my feed with an intersectional group who cover many of the bases between game designers, minorities, folks interested in bringing meaning positive change to the world, and assorted queer flavours. I just felt the ramifications of Australia's new social media laws... Bluesky needed a face scan through a third party security provider to prove my age before I could log in.

I was told that it was bad form to take photos of heaters or air conditioners then sell them on OnlyFans.

Digging through old public domain art websites can give some great inspiration sometimes.

So many awesome people in here, who I'd be too intimidated to talk to in real life... I'm just glad I get a few real conversations with you all. Thanks for being nice when I'm feeling down. You folks are great!
