Was talking with my wife about TRON soundtracks, which lead into my work playlist this afternoon now being all Aphex Twin and I couldn't be happier.

I mean, adding things players have been asking about for years has seemed to have started to work for #FFXIV. There's no reason it can't work for Bungie.

I'd urge any #FFXIV players saying that this has been a great year for the game to consider that everyone else is going to have their own, completely valid opinion depending on what they value and pursue in the game. Except the transphobes, fuck them.

FFXIV has had a very off year, even by the team's admission, and while there are encouraging signs that there are positive shifts underway, it's not a nomination that feels worth celebrating.

#FFXIV only looks like it's just really begun to look like it's moving back in a better direction. This past year has undoubtedly been one of its worst. The game is special to me, and I want it to succeed, but I genuinely believe they shouldn't be winning any awards this year.

Spent some time cleaning my desk today and got my new #FFXIV deskpad and keyboard set up. It's going to take some time to get used to the keys on this, they're so incredibly different compared to my Logitech G915 haha.

Fujito-san was like "No, but like really, these PS2 dev kits are at the end of life. For real for real. Super serious this time. We're learning maya and blender and adding a group finder to #FFXI and will soon be able to add new whole ass zones because we're getting rid of that old ass tech"

Finally got around to Tron: Ares. Wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be based on what people were saying. It still wasn't amazing, but it sucks to see it performed on a level that makes them not want to pursue the threads it looked like it was chasing, especially stuff from Legacy. A damn shame.
