I'm getting dumb-smart in Renpy. UwU)+ I have a portrait that needs to go above the textbox. Using “side image” is a no-go. I thought, “Let's make a new layer!” EXCEPT that the portrait is STILL visible in the quick menu. I searched EVERYWHERE for solution. I spent three hours on it! NOTHING!

So I started learning the basics of Renpy. I spent several hours wondering why the menu videos weren't working.... TURN OUT, you have to put them in the IMAGES folder. Not the gui one.
