tbh feels so good taking a much needed long-term hiatus away from drawing humans. I spent like 6 or 7 years drawing nothing but people and naturally it became my primary buying audience, so that transition away has been difficult financially but creatively rewarding.

Miocene Gryphon

did a prompt w friends of making a gryphon oc/sona that adheres to the bird/cat combo, and I went with critters from the miocene. Lokotunjailurus (sabertooth genus) for the cat part, and Phorusrhacos (terror bird) for the bird part. Little portrait to experiment with the combo.
