I often tell people that I have massive ambition when it comes to bold ideas, but not when it comes to titles. Sometimes the bold ideas work out and result in career growth but I’m not motivated by titles. If it works out, it works out. I believe that the work should speak for itself.

We already live on a planet where we could house and feed everyone with 30% of resource produced. Assuming true, of course any new tech that makes us more productive would NOT make anyone work less.

We all know that person, who does the invisible work, who quietly coordinates and holds projects together. They sadly rarely get credit for it though. It’s hard to measure, and often overlooked. We need to find leaders who can see and reward this invisible work.

I've had the worst luck with hardware products and it shows the hardware-product-service/maintenance support continues to be underrated. Forget all the software "advancements" when your hardwares aren't even capable to last for at least a few months!

Some might say I'm being too harsh on Figma but I actually think I'm not being harsh *enough.* For better or worse, Figma is the industry-default design tool. When they select their priorities, it communicates to designers *what they should consider important* both as a role model and as a tool.

Affordance lately... Work uses Enterprise plan (finally) and it's interesting that @figma.com releases trialling in Enterprise tier first...
